PRAYER is the backbone to our Church. It happens in so many ways - individually - through the prayer corner, the prayer book (please do write in it from time to time) - after church prayer ministry when you can pray and someone will pray with you if you would like that. On the first Wednesday of the month there’s the Parish Prayers 8-9pm usually at the Rectory, every Thursday morning 8.45-9.15am in St Francis, Home Groups pray and some friends meet as prayer partners, there are a couple of prayer meditation groups that meet during the month. And there’s Sunday Intercessions too. If you would like to know more about any of these opportunities to grow in prayer ask the Rector.
If you’re at all new to St Mary’s Church then you might be curious about where we’re going and how you can muck in. Here’s a leaflet that might get you thinking.Where are you going? How can I help?
If you would like to join the Church then come along on Sundays and ask about Home Groups and so on. But you might also like to join us not just in body and spirit but in paper too. So here’s a Church Electoral Roll Form
I make everyone who fills in an ER form also fill this questionaire in. Its really helpful to me and who knows you might get a birthday card. A little Questionaire
And here’s a form for giving money to the church in a way that means you don’t have to remember cash on the day and if you’re a tax payer then sign the stuff and its even more efficient.Bankers Order Form 12/2011
